Demo FAQ

The augmented reality button only appears on a compatible smartphone or tablet. On a computer, scan the object's QR code with your phone. On mobile, open the page in Safari, Chrome or Edge rather than in an app's built-in browser, and check that your Android device is ARCore-compatible.

Most likely: according to Apple, AR Quick Look works on iPhones and iPads running iOS or iPadOS 12 or later. Visuality automatically generates the USDZ file that AR Quick Look needs, so the object opens directly in AR Quick Look at its real size.

It must be ARCore-compatible, ARCore being Google's augmented reality technology, which is the case for most recent Android smartphones. According to Google, Scene Viewer requires Android 7.0 or later and Google Play Services for AR, which is installed automatically on compatible devices.

No, the demo works directly in your phone's browser, with no account or app. The same goes for your customers when you share your own products with Visuality. The Android app remains available as an option, especially for offline mode.

Yes, the demo objects are displayed at their real size when you place them in augmented reality. Depending on each object's setting, you may or may not be able to resize them with two fingers: for your own products, you can lock the size so your customers always see the true dimensions.

Yes, that is exactly what the free trial is for: create an account, upload a GLB or USDZ file or generate a model from a photo, then open it on your phone just like here. The trial requires no credit card and gives access to every feature.
