FAQs about augmented reality

No. Your customers open your products in 3D and augmented reality directly in their browser, from a link, a QR code or your website. On iPhone and iPad, Visuality uses Apple's AR Quick Look; on Android, Google Scene Viewer or WebXR. An optional Android app also lets you present a catalogue offline.

Visuality accepts GLB and USD/USDZ files; USD files are automatically converted to GLB on import. For iPhone and iPad, Visuality generates the USDZ file itself on its servers from the GLB, with the scale baked in and optimised textures, so a single file per product is enough.

If you don't have a 3D model, you can generate one from a simple photo with the AI built into Visuality, with a monthly conversion quota included in every plan. You can also scan the product yourself with the RealityScan app by following our guide, or have the Visuality team model it for you on quote, via the contact form.

Yes. Visuality offers a 7-day free trial on the Bronze plan, with no credit card and no commitment. During the trial, you can upload your own 3D objects, test augmented reality on iPhone and Android and share your products by link or QR code before choosing a subscription.

Visuality offers monthly subscriptions with no commitment and every feature included: Bronze — $32.99/month, 10 3D objects, 5 AI conversions / month; Silver — $42.99/month, 25 3D objects, 10 AI conversions / month; Gold — $64.99/month, 50 3D objects, 15 AI conversions / month. Views are unlimited: plans differ only in the number of 3D objects and the AI conversion quota. Extra AI credit packs are also available.

Yes. Visuality has an app published on the Shopify App Store, billed directly by Shopify, and a PrestaShop module. On any other website, you embed the 3D viewer with a simple iframe, and the REST API, accessed with a key provided in your dashboard, lets you automate the upload of your objects.
