About Visuality
Visuality is a French SaaS platform, published by Inside Learning, that lets businesses display their products in 3D and augmented reality on iPhone and Android, with no app to install, via a link, a QR code, an iframe embed or the Shopify and PrestaShop integrations. Launched in 2023, it is developed by Inside Learning, a French company based in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, in the Landes department of south-west France. Learn more about Visuality
Augmented reality displays a 3D object in your real environment, through the screen of a smartphone or tablet. For an online retailer, it lets your customers see a product in their home, at its real size, before buying it. For a salesperson, it makes it possible to present a bulky product without having to carry it. What is augmented reality?
Visuality is designed for businesses that want to show physical products in 3D: online stores on Shopify, PrestaShop or another CMS, manufacturers and brands, field sales teams and trade show exhibitors. The platform is particularly suited to products whose size or appearance influences the purchase, such as furniture, home decor or equipment.
Yes, our demo page features several 3D objects that you can rotate, then place in your home in augmented reality from an iPhone or an Android smartphone. On a computer, scan the QR code shown with your phone. You can also install the Visuality Android app to discover other 3D objects. Try the augmented reality demo
3D models and formats
Visuality accepts GLB files and the USD family (USDZ, USD, USDA, USDC). USD files are automatically converted to GLB on import, and the USDZ file for iPhone is generated by our servers. If your models are in another format, such as OBJ or FBX, export them to GLB from your 3D software before importing them. GLB or USDZ: which format should you choose?
There are three options. You can generate a 3D model from a simple photo with the built-in AI, scan the product yourself with the RealityScan app by following our guide, or have our team model it on a quote basis. These approaches can be combined depending on your products and the result you expect. How to create a 3D model for augmented reality
You upload a front-facing photo of your product, ideally on a plain background, and Visuality's AI generates a 3D model in a few minutes. Each generation uses one credit, taken from your plan's monthly quota or from an extra credit pack. The quality depends on the photo and on the complexity of the object. Generate a 3D model with AI
For fast loading, we recommend staying under 100,000 polygons per object, centering the model at coordinates 0,0,0 and exporting it at its real dimensions. Heavier models remain usable: for iPhone, Visuality automatically simplifies them to about 200,000 triangles and caps textures at 2048 pixels. Prepare your 3D model
Yes, with variants. The different colors or materials are defined in the GLB file with the standard KHR_materials_variants extension, which most 3D software supports. Once the object is imported, your customers choose the variant directly in the viewer, and the product counts as a single 3D object. Customization of a 3D model
Augmented reality and devices
No, your customers install nothing. They open a link or scan a QR code, then tap the augmented reality button: iPhone uses AR Quick Look and Android uses Scene Viewer or WebXR. The Visuality Android app remains available for advanced uses, such as offline mode.
iPhones and iPads compatible with AR Quick Look (iOS 12 or later, according to Apple) and ARCore-compatible Android smartphones (Android 7.0 or later, according to Google). On a computer, the viewer shows the product in 3D along with a QR code to open it on a phone. See the compatibility table
Because iPhone and iPad display augmented reality with AR Quick Look, which reads Apple's USDZ format rather than GLB. Visuality creates this file automatically on its servers from your GLB, with the object's size built in and very heavy models simplified to prevent Safari from crashing.
Yes, objects are displayed at 1:1 scale by default, provided the 3D model is exported at its real dimensions. You can adjust the scale of each object, choose floor or wall placement, and prevent your customers from resizing the product so they always see its real size. Manage the size of a 3D object
Yes, with the Visuality Android app. An object is available offline if it has been opened at least once in the app within the last 30 days. The web viewer, on the other hand, needs a connection to load the model. This mode is handy at trade shows or at customer sites with poor network coverage. Use offline mode
Sharing and integrations
Each object has a direct link, a QR code and an iframe code, available from the “View/Share” button in your library. You can also group several objects to share them with a single link. Send the link by email or message, and print the QR code on a catalog, packaging or a trade show booth. Using the Visuality web viewer
No, your objects are not published in any public catalog. Only the people you give the link, the QR code or the embed on your website to can see them. You decide where and with whom you share your augmented reality content.
Yes, the Visuality app has been available on the Shopify App Store since May 2026. It adds the 3D viewer and augmented reality to your product pages. On Shopify, the subscription is billed by Shopify, in US dollars, on your Shopify invoice. Visuality Shopify app
Yes. For PrestaShop, a free module compatible with versions 1.7 to 8.x displays the 3D viewer, the QR code or both on your product pages. For WordPress, WooCommerce and any other website, simply copy and paste your object's iframe code into the page of your choice. 3D viewer for websites
Yes, a REST API lets you create, list, edit and delete your 3D objects and groups from your own tools, for example to sync a catalog. Your API key is available in the “Integration” section of your dashboard, along with the endpoint documentation. API and integrations
Pricing and subscription
Visuality subscriptions cost between $32.99 and $64.99 per month, with no commitment. Every plan includes all features and unlimited views; plans differ in the number of 3D objects and the monthly AI conversion quota. Prices in euros exclude VAT. See pricing details
Yes, you can test Visuality for free with your own products, with no credit card and no commitment. The trial lasts 7 days, with the trial quotas (Bronze). Create your account, start the trial from the “My license” page, upload your 3D models and share them just as you would with a paid subscription. Create my free account
You have two options: replace an existing object to stay under the limit, or move up to the next plan from the “My license” page of your dashboard. Color variants of the same product, grouped in a single file, count as one object. Compare plans
From the “My license” page of your dashboard, using the “Cancel my license” link. There is no commitment: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. After that, your objects stay in your account but your share links and offline access stop working.
No, views are unlimited on every plan. You never pay according to how many times your 3D models are displayed or how many augmented reality sessions take place, even during a traffic spike or a successful marketing campaign.
Data and security
The Visuality platform and your 3D models are hosted on a virtual private server at OVHcloud, a French hosting provider, and file conversions (GLB to USDZ, USDZ to GLB) are carried out on that same server. Only AI model generation relies on a specialized provider, to which the photo in question is sent. Legal notice
Visuality only collects the data needed to provide the service, such as your name, email address and login details, and applies security measures to protect them. You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to contact@visuality.fr. The Android app does not store any personal data. Personal data policy
No, your customers need neither an account nor an app. They simply open the link, scan the QR code or visit your product page to see the object in 3D, then tap the augmented reality button on their smartphone. Only the business that publishes the objects has a Visuality account.
