Generate a 3D model with AI
Preamble
In this article, we will guide you on how to convert a simple image into a 3D model ready to be viewed in augmented reality!
In the example above, the different models are generated from a single image, without prior modeling!
The quality of the 3D model will depend directly on the quality of the image and the complexity of the object.
Preparing the image
To start, you need to have an image of your product ready.
To improve the 3D object’s rendering, provide a front-facing image of the object you wish to generate, on a solid-colored background (preferably white or monochrome).
Recommended Image
- ✅ One object in the image
- ✅ Front view of the object
- ✅ White, monochrome, or no background
- ✅ Adequate but not excessive lighting
Image that may produce poor results
- ⚠️ Text present on the image
- ⚠️ Multiple objects in the image
- ⚠️ Complex background image
Image conversion
Go to the dedicated page, définissez un nom à votre objet et importez votre image dans le formulaire.
Once the form is submitted, you are redirected to your dashboard. Your object is being created, the process may take a few minutes
Once finished, your object will appear automatically.
The conversion is complete, you can now view your object in augmented reality!
