What is Vectary?

Vectary is a 3D creation tool that runs in the browser. Its offer combines a 3D editor (Studio), an AI-assisted workspace (Canvas, in beta), import of 3D and CAD files, animations and interactions, 3D configurators and interactive 3D manuals. Projects are shared by link and can be embedded on other websites.

According to Vectary, the tool imports formats such as OBJ, STL, FBX, glTF, GLB, DAE, IGES and STEP. Its integrations page shows platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Webflow, Wix or Squarespace, and tools such as Figma or Notion.

Vectary also includes AI generation, which uses credits: the Starter plan includes 3,000 credits per month, which Vectary estimates is enough for about 370 images or 60 generated 3D models. For augmented reality, Vectary advertises an experience with no app to download, on iPhone and iPad (ARKit), on Android and on Apple Vision Pro.

When should you choose Vectary over Visuality?

  • You need to design or edit your 3D scenes: materials, staging, animations and interactions are all handled directly in the editor.
  • You start from CAD files (STEP, IGES): Vectary imports them (CAD import and optimization are listed in the Team plan), whereas Visuality only accepts GLB and USD/USDZ.
  • You build configurators or interactive 3D manuals for your products.
  • Your team collaborates on projects, with comments and notifications.
  • You want to bring 3D into your work tools such as Figma, Notion or your presentations.
  • You want to learn 3D without paying: the Free plan lets you get started at no cost.

When is Visuality a better fit than Vectary?

Visuality is a French SaaS platform, published by Inside Learning, that lets businesses display their products in 3D and augmented reality on iPhone and Android, with no app to install, via a link, a QR code, an iframe embed or the Shopify and PrestaShop integrations.

  • You want to publish your products in augmented reality quickly, with no 3D skills: you upload a file or a photo, and Visuality takes care of the rest.
  • You need app-free augmented reality from the entry plan, at a fixed price and with unlimited views.
  • You sell on Shopify or PrestaShop: the app and the module display the viewer on your product pages.
  • Your visitors often arrive from a computer: the QR code lets them switch to augmented reality on their phone.
  • Your teams present products at trade shows or meetings: the Android app works offline.

Can you use Vectary and Visuality together?

Yes, the two tools complement each other. Vectary's developer documentation lists GLB among its export formats: you can design or edit a model in Vectary, export it as GLB, then upload it to Visuality for augmented reality, QR codes and your product pages. Check first that export is available on your Vectary plan.

No. Visuality is not modeling software. You upload a GLB or USD/USDZ file, or generate the model with AI from a photo, then adjust how it is displayed: scale, floor or wall placement, variants, animations, background. To create or edit a 3D scene, you still need a tool like Vectary.

Yes, if it is exported as GLB, which Vectary's developer documentation lists among its export formats. Then upload the file to Visuality: the USDZ file for iPhone and iPad is generated automatically and the model can be shared by link, QR code, iframe or on your product pages.

Vectary lists Shopify among its integrations and suits you if you design scenes or configurators yourself. Visuality has an app published on the Shopify App Store that adds the 3D viewer and an augmented reality QR code to your product pages through a theme block, with no code.

Visuality is a monthly subscription, with no fee on your sales. The entry plan costs $32.99/month. Plans differ by the number of 3D objects and the AI generation quota; views are unlimited. A free trial with no credit card lets you test the platform.
