E-commerce integrations — PrestaShop & Shopify
In short
Visuality offers two e-commerce integrations: a free module for PrestaShop 1.7 to 8.x, connected with your API key, and an app published on the Shopify App Store, billed by Shopify. Both display the 3D viewer, an augmented reality QR code, or both on the product page.
Prerequisites
- An active Visuality account; on Shopify, it is created automatically when you choose a plan in the app.
- Your 3D objects uploaded to the 3D Object Library, in GLB or USDZ format.
- Admin access to your store.
Install the PrestaShop module
- Download the module ZIP file below
- In your PrestaShop admin, go to Modules > Module Manager, then click "Install a module" and select the ZIP file
- Get your API key from your Integration page
- In the Visuality > Settings menu of PrestaShop, paste the key and click “Save and test”.
- In Visuality > Products, click “Configure” next to a product, choose the 3D object and the display mode, then click “Save association”.

Install the Shopify app
- Install Visuality from the Shopify App Store and grant access to your products.
- Choose your plan in the app: Shopify bills the subscription and your Visuality account is activated automatically.
- In the app's Products tab, link a 3D object to each product and choose the display mode.
- In Online Store > Themes > Customize, add the “Visuality 3D Viewer” block (Apps section) to the product template, then save.
Good to know
- Three display modes are available per product: 3D viewer, QR code, or both.
- The PrestaShop module shows the viewer in French to French-speaking visitors and in English for all other languages.
- If you regenerate your API key, paste the new key into the module settings: the old one stops working.
- The Shopify block requires an Online Store 2.0 theme; with an older theme, use the iframe code.
Using another e-commerce platform? You can integrate Visuality in two ways:
- 3D viewer for websites — copy-paste a simple HTML code on your site
- REST API — for a fully customized integration
Frequently asked questions
Yes. The module is free and compatible with PrestaShop 1.7 to 8.x. It requires a Visuality account with an active subscription or an ongoing trial, which hosts your 3D objects and provides the viewer.
No. When you choose a plan in the Shopify app, your Visuality account is created and connected automatically. The API key is used by the PrestaShop module and for REST API calls.
Yes. The Visuality iframe code works in any CMS that accepts an HTML block, such as WordPress, Wix or Webflow. For a custom integration, the REST API lets you manage your 3D objects programmatically.
